America's Soldiers are Indeed Innovative

Michelle Shriver took a year to collect and send 80,000 cans of Silly String to her son in Iraq. Soldiers spurt the silly string across a room and watch how it falls --shows trip-wires for explosives.
Other "innovations":
Some soldiers eat raw tobacco to kill stomach worms which come in local food
Cigarette butts fit perfectly in gun barrels and keep out dirt, sand, or water, and then are shot out when the gun fires;
Tampons are great for plugging up wounds and Saran Wrap is very effective at sealing a punctured chest;
Using vaseline or lip balm to coat your mouth when you shower helps protect against cholera contaminated water;
Tape, placed sticky side up, around the bed catches insects; stretching socks over your boots keep scorpions out.
